John Winter steers award-winning productions for the world’s top artists, global brands, studios and streamers, with over 1 billion views and $300M in production budgets. A producer who thrives in the chaotic world of big personalities, complex creative and demanding timelines, handling whatever is thrown his way with a smile. His achievements include some of the most iconic music films, including: RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ, SELENA GOMEZ: MY MIND AND ME, and MILEY CYRUS: BANGERZ TOUR. John’s eighteen-year partnership with FX Network produced their largest promo campaigns, including: SHOGUN, THE BEAR, AMERICAN HORROR STORY, FARGO, POSE, and SNOWFALL. John founded Whatever Pictures to elevate music films and documentaries, with fresh approaches to who is on the team, alternative ways of pulling off the production, and a variety of ideas for funding, release, and roll out.

Fortress Studios

Live & Live Streaming

Fortress produces and directs content for artists at all levels. They create theatrical concert films including Ghost’s RITE HERE RITE NOW (Box Office Top Ten Debut) and LAUFEY’S A NIGHT AT THE SYMPHONY: HOLLYWOOD BOWL. Fortress has helmed major live event broadcasts, such as Outside Lands, Montreux Jazz Festival and EDC, as well as concert broadcasts, original content, documentaries, and tour films for artists including Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Anastacia, and The 1975. They also specialize in livestreams, having worked with platforms such as Amazon, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, and produced the global livestream distribution for the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

The Cut Productions

Unscripted Series & Features

The Cut has established itself as a top producer for Netflix. This year saw the debut of their latest hit Netflix doc series, JAILBREAK: LOVE ON THE RUN. The Cut released a pair of unscripted series for the platform in 2023 including AMERICAN MANHUNT: THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING, which received an Emmy for Outstanding Editing in Documentary, as well as WACO: AMERICAN APOCALYPSE, which was nominated for Best Non-Fiction Series – Crime & Investigation at the Realscreen Awards. Their 2021 Netflix release, BIGGIE: I GOT A STORY TO TELL, received a nomination for an MTV Movie & TV Award and won the 2021 Grierson Award for Best Music Documentary. The Cut is currently in production on four more documentaries for Netflix, with subjects including Twitter, the Oklahoma City Bombing, and two additional seasons of American Manhunt covering the criminal pursuits of Osama Bin Laden and OJ Simpson.

Jil Hardin

Executive Producer/Producer

Jil Hardin is a film, branded content, and music video producer known for her work across various genres and platforms. She collaborates with high-profile artists, including Taylor Swift, producing several of her music videos from BLANK SPACE, THE MAN, and FORTNITE, to THE ERAS TOUR movie. Hardin also produced POWER RANGERS: UNAUTHORIZED, a fan film based on the Power Rangers franchise, and BODIED, a battle rap comedy-drama directed by Joseph Kahn. Her work focuses on visually engaging and impactful storytelling, across independent and mainstream projects, always shining a light on her ability to manage diverse and complex productions.

Fatima Robinson

Executive Producer/Creative Director

Fatima Robinson is one of the most sought-after creative directors & choreographers in the world.  Choreographer for the film THE COLOR PURPLE, Director of Choreography for Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR & the 2022 Super Bowl for Dr Dre featuring Mary J Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem & 50 Cent. Named one of Entertainment Weekly’s “100 Most Creative People in Entertainment”, receiving Emmy nominations for producing & choreographing the 2021 & 2022 Grammy Awards, & Executive Producer and Creative Director of CBS’s HIP HOP 50. Choreography for television also includes The Academy Awards®, & the shows BLACKISH, GROWNISH, THE VOICE, DANCING WITH THE STARS, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, & AMERICAN IDOL. Film credits include DREAMGIRLS, COMING 2 AMERICA, THE HARDER THEY FALL, AMERICAN GANGSTER, PUBLIC ENEMIES, ALI, & BOOK OF CLARENCE. Her work in music includes videos & performances for Pharrell Williams, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Lana Del Rey, Usher, Prince, Rihanna, Meghan Trainor & many others.

Kathy Angstadt

Executive Producer/Producer

Kathy Angstadt is a Grammy award winning producer who as the Head of Creative at Interscope Records under Jimmy Iovine, worked with the biggest names in music including Eminem, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Beck, Dr Dre, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani and more. Working on films and music videos directly with artists, labels, directors and production companies from conception through delivery, her focus on storytelling and innovative production techniques creates an environment of teamwork and excellence. Recently Kathy produced all the visual content and live performances for Eminem’s latest THE DEATH OF SLIM SHADY including the video for HOUDINI with over 150 million views. Currently she is a producer on the STANS documentary feature to be released in 2025 in select theaters and on Paramount Plus.

Oualid Mouaness

Writer/Director/Producer

Oualid Mouaness is an award-winning director, writer, and producer. His work encompasses narrative and documentary features, music films, music videos, and commercials. His first feature film as director, 1982, won the NETPAC at TIFF19, the Prix Cannes Écrans Juniors 2021, UNICEF 2021 Prize, and the FIPRESCI Critics Prize. It was Lebanon’s Best International Feature Film submission at the 92nd Oscars. Mouaness produced music videos with artists David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and others. He produced PBS’s Annie Lennox’s Emmy Nominated film AN EVENING OF NOSTALGIA (2015), KITCHEN PRIVILEGES (SXSW 2000) and the documentaries RIZE (Sundance 2005), I AM THALENTE (2015) and MAX RICHTER’S SLEEP (DFA2019 & SUNDANCE2020). Mouaness served on several film festival juries, including SXSW (2024). He’s the recipient of the Khayrallah Prize 2021 and is a Sundance Institute Fellow.
